Kaye Taylor

I am a friendly, outgoing, reliable, and trustworthy person. I was born in New Jersey as the sixth of seven children. Our family established our home in Maryland after many years of frequently moving due to my father being in the military.

My career in childcare began shortly after high school. I offered a helping hand to a family in the area with five children looking for assistance. I immediately understood the importance of organization when juggling several children, from newborn to eleven years old. After working for that family, I chose to pursue other options and went back to school. Only a year later, I revisited the childcare field by working for a family in Virginia which turned out to be one of my most fulfilling childcare experiences, with many more to follow. During the five years with the family, my passion and desire for providing childcare grew. This experience also lead me to become a preschool teacher’s aide.

Throughout my career as a professional childcare provider, I have worked with many families and have learned something valuable from every one of them. I enjoy working with and teaching children of various ages and my experience ranges from newborn to eighteen years old, including children with special needs. I am certified in Early Childhood Development and a Certified Baby Nurse with CPR and First Aid Training.

Jay Taylor

I am a nurturing, fair-minded, loving, and dependable person. I was born in Texas as the third of seven children and grew up in Maryland.

My very first job was babysitting in my neighborhood. After graduation, I began working at a dental practice where I stayed for over 20 years. During that time I witnessed families’ children from a young age to growing up, heading to college, getting married, and returning to the practice with their spouses and children. After earning their trust, I served as a confidant for many of the families, which was greatly rewarding. I also served as a Brownie Girl Scout Leader for five years. With a lot of hard work, our group became an ”Honor Troop“. Nominated by the parents of my troop, I was awarded a leadership pin by the Service Unit.

Joining my sister with ChildcareExpress has been a great next chapter for me. I am CPR and first aid certified.

Our Philosophy

While every child is different, they all need to be treated with the same basics to thrive: patience, understanding, and love. We at ChildcareExpress believe our most important purpose is to ensure children’s safety and well-being during our care. We wish to give parents a sense of peace, knowing their children are in great hands. We help bring consistency and structure into the individual family routine. We know: “To whom much is given much is required“.

We look forward to working with your family.
